Flame Pharma are currently working alongside a leading Clinical Outsourcing Organisation to recruit an experienced, fully NMC Registered Nurse to take on the challenging role of Research Nurse. This is an exciting new opportunity that will allow the successful candidate to be part of a research team that will assist with clinical trials in a Clinical Research environment.

The Role

As part of the clinical research team, the ideal candidate will be responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect care for research studies undertaken in the Clinical Research Unit. The post holder will participate in the effective running of research studies on a day-to-day basis maintaining the safety and well being of study participants and utilizing skill knowledge and judgement to provide a high standard of care whilst maintaining dignity and respect at all times. The post holder has responsibility and accountability for planning, organising, and prioritising their daily workload working collaboratively as part of the multidisciplinary team.

The Person

The ideal candidate should be fully NMC registered and Degree qualified in general/adult nursing or equivalent with proven post registration experience, ideally within a Clinical Trial environment. Proven organisational skills are essential as are exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate must be flexible, enthusiastic, a good team player, self motivated and skilled in using basic computer packages.
