Clinical Research Nurse
Background
As a vital part of the study team, Clinical Research Nurses are responsible for planning and implementing the practical aspects of a clinical study, and ensuring the health and safety of human volunteers.
Key Responsibilities
- Volunteer supervision.
- Volunteer recruitment and screening.
- Performing clinical procedures (recording vital signs, recording vital signs, collecting and processing blood samples, collecting biological samples).
- Data collection and recording.
- Compiling study related guidelines.
- Ordering study supplies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree qualified in general/adult nursing or equivalent
- Extensive registration experience
- Knowledge of ICH-GCP
- Ability to perform 12-lead ECG
- Proven organisational skills
- Proven communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be skilled in using basic computer packages
