Flame Health Optometry - Optometrist Job in Margate, Kent
Flame Health Optometry are currently recruiting for an Optometrist in the Margate area of Kent.
This well appointed practice in Kent is seeking an ambitious and self-motivated Optometrist to join them for an exciting resident role.
The practice is part of one of the leading optical groups, which has a proven track record in developing and providing excellent career paths for individuals through their recognised training and development channels. The practice is complemented by a wonderfully supportive team, which includes another resident full-time Optometrist, a part-time Optometrist, regular locum Optometrists as well as the support staff.
The team will assist you in your optometric duties; they will complete the field screening and pressures of each patient for you. Within your consulting room you will discover the state of the art equipment and an air-conditioned environment ensuring that you are as comfortable as possible.
As an Optometrist you will be responsible for thorough eye examinations, contact lens assessments, aftercares and assisting colleagues when necessary to ensure the practice operates smoothly.
The ideal testing time will be 20 minutes, however consideration will be given to those more recently qualified. A good balance of commercial and clinical understanding is needed, as is the demonstration of excellent communication skills. Our client is happy to provide sponsorship for charity work abroad, for instance Vision Aid Overseas if that was of interest. They are even willing to look at funding conversion courses for Optometrists qualified outside of the UK. A Fundus Camera camera has recently been acquired to further entice!
